These standards explain how Workers should use SpotOnTask safely, honestly, and professionally. They should be read with the Terms and Conditions, restricted task activities, and other published policies.
Before making an offer
- Only offer services you can legally, safely, and competently perform.
- Read the full task and ask questions before setting a price.
- Submit one fixed total covering the agreed labour, materials, travel, and other costs.
- Keep profile information, licences, and qualifications accurate and current.
Communication and privacy
- Be respectful and keep task-related decisions in SpotOnTask messages.
- Do not put phone numbers, email addresses, websites, social handles, or private addresses in public task areas.
- Only exchange contact or access details privately when reasonably needed for an assigned task.
- Never request passwords, authentication codes, identity documents, TFNs, or payment-card details in messages.
Payments
- Keep all task payments on SpotOnTask. Do not request cash, bank transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards, tips, deposits, or direct reimbursements.
- Check the service fee and You'll receive amount before submitting an offer.
- Do not start extra work until the changed scope and funded budget have been agreed through the task.
- Request release only after completing the agreed work.

During the task
- Arrive or deliver when agreed and notify the Poster promptly about delays.
- Follow reasonable safety and access requirements.
- Do not substitute another person without the Poster's informed agreement; the assigned Worker remains responsible for the task.
- Keep progress, scope changes, and supporting evidence in task chat.
Keep progress updates and agreed changes in the task thread. Review attachments for private information before sending.
Unacceptable conduct
Fraud, fake reviews, harassment, discrimination, threats, illegal or unsafe activity, data harvesting, fee circumvention, misleading profiles, and attempts to manipulate marketplace metrics are prohibited.
Accountability
SpotOnTask may review reports and platform records. Depending on severity and history, action may include content removal, warnings, offer restrictions, temporary suspension, or account termination. Applicable legal rights and review processes continue to apply.
